The Cascade is available with a number of special taper options.
The Low Gain/Wide Range option features more precise control over the low to mid range gain levels, as well as a lower minimum gain. The High Gain/Wide Range option features more precise control over the mid to high range gain levels, as well as a lower minimum gain. The Stock Taper represents the best compromise across the travel of the control, and the expense of slightly boosted minimum gain. All 3 options feature the same available maximum gain.
